Job Description
A unique opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services within a county school setting. This role involves working directly with K-12 students experiencing mild to moderate speech and language challenges. The position is a contract assignment, requiring the professional to work onsite with no remote options at this time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to K-12 students with mild to moderate communication needs
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on student evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12), addressing mild to moderate speech and language disorders
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to work onsite within the assigned county and adhere to contract terms
Location:
- Onsite within the county, serving K-12 students. Remote work is not available for this position.
