COTA in Fontana, CA

A contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide critical support within a school setting from March through June. This role requires working 7 hours per day, offering a dynamic mix of support tailored to elementary, middle, and high school students. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in delivering therapy services to students across multiple grade levels
• Implement intervention plans under the supervision of licensed OTs
• Collaborate with educators and school staff to support students developmental and functional goals
• Document progress and maintain accurate records per educational guidelines
• Adapt therapeutic activities to meet the varying needs of students in elementary, middle, and high school

Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school personnel
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different age groups and therapy needs
