Licensed Music Therapist - League City, Texas

A school district in the Houston area is seeking a Music Therapist to provide therapeutic music services for students in grades K-12. This per diem position requires availability two days per week during the 20252026 school year on a contract basis.

Key Qualifications:

• Texas Standard Educator Certificate with specialization in Music EC-12
• Bachelors degree in Music Therapy or related field
• Newly certified or experienced Music Therapist eligible to work within an educational setting

Location:

• Houston metropolitan area and surrounding communities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group music therapy sessions to support students emotional, social, and cognitive development
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement treatment plans aligned with students educational goals
• Maintain documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies and standards
• Adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs across K-12 grade levels
