Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide services in a middle school setting, serving a diverse caseload spanning PreK-12 students. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) with potential for extension.
Location: Spring Valley, CA
Setting: Onsite at a middle school
Caseload: Mixed, number of students to be determined
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for students across PreK-12 grade levels
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other support staff to support student progress
- Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary discussions
Preferred qualifications:
- Current SLP license and active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working with school-aged populations in educational settings
- Ability to manage a mixed caseload effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
