Educational Audiologist

This contract opportunity offers a schedule designed to support hearing screening and early identification programs within the school district. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and hearing screenings for 20-30 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade Utilize the sound booth for hearing screenings, primarily scheduled on Fridays Manage Child Find activities two Fridays per month, totaling approximately 10 days annually, to identify students with potential hearing challenges Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans to support students' auditory needs Maintain accurate records and documentation of student evaluations, screenings, and communications Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with audiology best practices in educational settings Qualifications: Valid state license and certification as an audiologist Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or clinical environments preferred Strong knowledge of hearing screening protocols and equipment operation Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Location: Fowler, Colorado Schedule and Hours: Monday through Thursday: 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM Fridays reserved for hearing screenings and Child Find activities, with total weekly hours ranging from 36 to 40 depending on scheduled duties This role is ideal for an audiologist committed to supporting student success through effective hearing care within a school environment.
