A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a 210-day contract assignment in North Charleston, SC. This role requires a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and provides an excellent opportunity to apply specialized skills in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Provide counseling and support to students and families regarding communication issues.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC credential.
- Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
