Speech Therapist in North Charleston, SC

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a 210-day contract assignment in North Charleston, SC. This role requires a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and provides an excellent opportunity to apply specialized skills in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Provide counseling and support to students and families regarding communication issues.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid SLP-CCC credential.
• Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
