A position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with certification to provide services for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Cypress, TX. This contract role focuses on servicing an elementary caseload ranging from early childhood special education/pre-kindergarten through 5th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students within a caseload of approximately 45-50 elementary-aged children
- Collaborate with two other onsite Speech-Language Pathologists to coordinate assessments, treatment plans, and progress monitoring
- Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
- Document session notes and student progress in accordance with school and state requirements
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status
- Experience providing speech-language therapy to early childhood through elementary-aged students
- Strong organizational skills to manage a full caseload effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and families
Work Schedule and Location:
- Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week
- Position based in Cypress, Texas
