Key roles and responsibilities: As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injury or illness and adapt to physical or cognitive challenges. You will assess, plan, and implement treatments designed to restore function and promote independence. In addition, you will: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and goals Provide therapeutic interventions using appropriate occupational therapy modalities and techniques Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care Educate patients and families on treatment plans, progress, adaptive equipment, and home programs.
