Requirements Speech & Language Pathologist Acute (SLP) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: 2320.91 2543.12 Will administer evaluations, diagnose speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowingdisorders; establish and provide treatment programs for individuals with deficits in speech, language,cognitive, voice and/or swallowing disorders; schedules patients to receive evaluation and treatmentsbased on patient needs; provide education to patients, families and staff regarding disorders of speech,language, cognition, voice and/or swallowing; participate in program development for the speechtherapy discipline, PM&R department and Service Line; prepare reports and conununicate with referralsources and treatment agencies; participate in community programs. Required Qualifications Speech/Language Pathologist, Acute\nLicenses: SLPNY\nCertifications: ASHA\nOR\nSpeech/Language Pathologist, Acute\nLicenses: SLPNY\nWeekends: 1 weekend every other month\nSSN Required\nDOB Required\n\nSLP for Syracuse, NY Masters Degree in Speech Pathology, NYS licensure, clinical certification in Speech Pathology (or its equivalent) and completion of clinical fellowship year required. Outpatient Experience Required Must successfully pass preemployment health clearance.
