This is a 14-week contract with potential for extension.

Position Summary: The Occupational Therapy Assistant will support licensed Occupational Therapists in delivering therapy programs aimed at restoring and enhancing patient function, all in compliance with state practice acts and company protocols.
This role requires working under moderate supervision to assist in improving patients' strength, coordination, and overall independence.
Job Responsibilities: Deliver therapy services delegated and supervised by a licensed Occupational Therapist, based on the patients Plan of Treatment Assist in implementing educational and vocational activities designed to improve function and promote independence Fabricate or adapt devices and environments to support daily living and mobility Provide direct therapeutic treatment and instructions to patients to help improve range of motion and functional skills Observe and report patient progress, documenting all relevant data and preparing clinical notes Instruct patients and family members on home exercise programs and the use of adaptive equipment Participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and community reintegration activities Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest professional standards Engage in staff development and performance improvement activities as assigned Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (ACOTE) Current licensure/certification to practice in the state of WA Current CPR certification Basic knowledge of rehab techniques for neurological injury Good organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently Minimum 6 months of relevant experience Additional Information: Location : Tacoma, WA Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM Contract Length: 14 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Labor Type: Healthcare Gross weekly : $1780.40 W2 hourly (Taxable): $16.66 Stipend hourly (Non - Taxable): $27.85 = ($15.80 $12.05) *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
