VariesWhat You Will Do:
Provides respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. Duties include management of mechanical ventilation, arterial canalization, endotracheal intubation and all other procedures applicable to the field of respiratory care. Communicates with physicians, nurses, other healthcare workers, patients and families. Practices within the guidelines set forth by the delineation of clinical privileges established by the Medical Director and Department Director. Assists with orientation of new employees and students.
What You Will Need:
- Must be a High School or GED Diploma Graduate. Completion of an AMA approved college program in Respiratory Care and recognition by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Therapist.
- Current Georgia State license to practice Respiratory Care and current BCLS/ACLS/PALS Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
