We're currently seeking dedicated Elementary Speech Language Pathologists ($44-60/hour) to support several elementary schools on a full and part-time basis in the Streamwood, IL area for the upcoming school year.

  • In-person positions only, no CFYs
  • Estimated School year dates:?August 11, 2025 - May 29, 2026 ?
  • Caseload: 40-55 students, mostly general ed students, one self-contained class across 6 elementary schools
  • Daily Hours: 9:00- 3:30, full and part-time (can combine to make full time)

Role Overview:
As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Key Responsibilities: ?
  • Provides appropriate individualized programs of intervention to meet individual students' needs
  • Implement speech/language programs and maintain data collection system.
  • Provide information to parents, teachers, school staff, consult with physicians, community agencies and others.
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional material and provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Illinois PEL with Speech-Language endorsement (or Type 73, Type 10, or Type 03/09)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
