Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/30/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Nights Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Guaranteed Hours: 36/week Start Date: 6/16/2025 Unit Details: Patient Types: Adult CCU, NICU, PICU, and general inpatient respiratory patients Team Support: Charge RT and Clinical Specialist 24/7; strong leadership structure Key Responsibilities: Provide respiratory care including ventilation management, high-flow oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP, blood gas sampling, and NICU interventions Work with advanced equipment: Draeger V500, Savina 300, Hamilton C1, Servo-I MRI, 3100A Oscillator, Airvo2, iNO, IPV, and ABL90 analyzers Utilize Epic charting and Omnicell medication systems Float within the hospital (including ED); no floating to other facilities unless specifically contracted Participate in rotating weekend and holiday schedules Call requirements may apply depending on location and staffing Requirements: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required South Dakota RCP license (must be in hand prior to submittal; processing can take up to 30 days) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Minimum 2 years of recent experience (first-time travelers considered with strong experience and manager approval) Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy EPIC experience required Additional Info: Scrub Color: Pewter Free Parking: Yes Time off is allowed up to 7 days with contract extension No time off allowed during the first 3 weeks of August (Sturgis Rally blackout period) Job ID #16550287 About Genie Healthcare Genie Healthcare is one of the fastest growing Nurse Travel Agencies in the USA.
