Your RoleQTC Medical Group Inc., dbaQTC Medical Group California: As anAudiologistwith QTC MedicalGroup Inc., dba QTC Medical Group California, a Leidos QTC HealthService affiliated professional corporation, you will apply theprinciples of hearing science and audiology to formulate anIndependent Medical Opinion (IMO) and/or independent medical examto a unique claimant population of past and present militaryservice members. The scope of practice of the audiologist is toprovide a professional opinion to the severity of the hearingproblem, the diagnosis, the causation, and assessing theprobability that the hearing problem is related to militaryservice. Pay Range: - Salary:$90k-$170k w/ quarterly bonuseligibility(Based on combination of relevant experience, education,and other relevant qualifications) Work Schedule, Location, andOther Information: - Generally Mon-Fri (between 7am -6pm), withweekend/evening schedules based on operational needs. - ClinicAddress- 77 Scripps Dr, Suite 202, Sacramento, CA 95825 - 3 weeksonboarding / training. - 12-20 patients daily (depending on examduration and complexity) with built in admin time. - Support staffincluding MA's to provide in clinic support. - We will pay forlicensing, malpractice, CME costs, and more! - All benefitsincluding medical, dental, life, STD/LTDetc. available onDAY 1! Essential Duties andResponsibilities: - Responsible for administering and interpretinga variety of tests to determine the type and degree of hearingimpairment, such as air and bone conduction, and speech receptionand discrimination tests, the site of damage, and effects oncomprehension and speech. - Evaluates test results in relation tobehavioral, social, educational and conduct medical record reviewsof past audiograms and documents to determine the likely cause ofthe hearing loss, and to state the prognosis and address the issuesof hearing loss and tinnitus. - Operates computerized programs andutilizes application software and databases in order to enter,modify, and access information into/from electronic medicalrecords, and utilizing report writing formats. - Maintains patientconfidentiality with written and verbal information per HIPAA. -Responsible for conducting otoscopic examinations, cerumenmanagement, and calibration checks of audiometric equipment. - Leadparaprofessional staff training for Audiology specific skills andcertifications as required by all LOB. - Completion of VeteransBenefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs). -You will also have the ability to travel (up to 50%) to provideaudiology examinations for clients in multiple locations throughoutthe country. Competencies: - Demonstrates compassion,professionalism, and a commitment to providing excellent customerservice and care to the claimants. - Collaborative, best proactiveand informed standard of care-centric, decision-making skills. -Analytical ability necessary to evaluate and determine medicalopinions. - Technically competent with computers/tablets to includeproficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook) and using Electronic Medical Records. - Knowledge ofworkplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations. RequiredEducation and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses) -Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au. D) from an accredited college oruniversity is required. - 5years of clinic practice experience. -Professional experience directly related or desire to work withCompensation and Pension Examination, and experience with hearingconservation programs/and or noise conservation programs preferredbut not required. - Currently licensed Audiologist in stateemployed and license shall be unrestricted. - AmericanSpeech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academyof Audiology (AAA) certification prior to hire. Will reimburse forcost. - Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Checkwith Inquiries (NACI) background investigation. - Must be eligibleto obtain and maintain Government Clearances (LARS/Public TrustClearance, etc. - Receive a medical clearance that may consist ofpassing an N95 respirator fit test and properly wear organizationalstandard respiratory protective equipment as required. Pass aTuberculosis/TB test and receive a Hepatitis A/B vaccine series orpass a Hepatitis A/B Titer test. - Ability to earn and maintaintraining/certifications as required to support current and futurecontracts.
