From enhancing mobility to promoting independence in ADLs, the work we do here truly matters-not just for the participants but for their families and care teams as well SLP Responsibilities: Provide high quality SLP services to referred program participants Assesses and communicate progress results to families and other team members Select appropriate assessment tools that address the unique needs of the client; gather necessary clinical data throughout the treatment process, involving family and team members as appropriate Design and implement Plans of Care, utilizing clinically and developmentally appropriate therapeutic techniques Plans and implements developmentally appropriate and individualized therapeutic techniques and strategies that meet the needs of each client Adapts environments to support successful client outcomes Collaborate with colleagues, support families, and self-evaluates professional practices Complies with Agency and Regulatory Requirements Complies with regulations and completes required record keeping within timelines set by agency, state and federal regulatory requirements Complies with health and safety policies/procedures and completion of incident reporting. Fulfills productivity requirements set by agency Competencies: Professionalism: The ability to maintain professional and courteous interactions with persons served, colleagues, supervisors, and families. The ability to manage time and balance both direct and indirect work, including client care, clinical documentation, meeting and training attendance The ability to receive feedback, focusing on professional growth and development. The ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and make contributions to positive culture Work with integrity and a strong sense of ethics Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to this role, including both clinical and non-clinical communication Technology: The ability to learn and navigate agency Electronic Health Record system for client documentation Familiarity and ease of use with common workplace software, including Microsoft 365 Required Education and Experience: Current Kentucky Speech and Language Pathology license Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology and completion of national board requirements, Certification of Clinical Competence preferred, but may consider Clinical Fellowship (CFY) One year of working as part of an interdisciplinary team with early childhood development, augmentative and alternative communication, computer software, adaptive peripherals and oral motor methods experience preferred
