Oroville City Elementary School District is seeking a passionate and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 20252026 school year. This is a districtwide , on-site position serving a diverse student population across multiple school sites. You'll work collaboratively with educators and support staff to provide essential services that help students thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Provide therapy services across school sites within the district
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Prior school-based experience preferred but not required
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Must be able to work on-site daily
Schedule & Contract:
Start Date: August 12
End Date: June 6
Hours: 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday
