Respiratory Care Practitioner

Richland, WA

Pay Scale: $28-$42/hr

Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus

SUMMARY

A large hospital in Richland, WA is searching for a permanent full-time Respiratory Care Practitioner. This unit is made up of caring individuals who put the patient s safety and concerns before themselves. This is very much a team-like atmosphere and it s an excellent opporntity to provide quality care to patients in an environment that fosters transparency, respect and partnership!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles
  • Collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care
  • Operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy
  • Activities may also include other patient care functions for which he or she is qualified.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
  • Washington RRT License required upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
