A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available within a K-12 educational environment located in Saint Joseph, MN. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed professional holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate seeking to serve a diverse school-age population. The role is offered on a contract basis for the upcoming school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and ongoing therapy services for students across all grade levels, K-12.
- Manage a comprehensive caseload independently, as there will be no Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) assisting with evaluations.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal standards.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as an SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience working with school-aged children in a variety of communication disorders.
- Ability to work onsite full-time, demonstrating strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with educational settings and regulatory compliance for special education services.
Additional Information:Interviews may be scheduled even while the Director is out of the office until mid-July. Onsite presence is required, with no remote work arrangements currently available.
