Job Description


A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for the 2025-2026 school year to support a K-12 caseload in Homer, LA. This contract position offers guaranteed hours and the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services within a school setting.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location:

  • Homer, Louisiana

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for students across all grade levels (K-12)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
  • Monitor and report student progress toward communication goals
