Job Description
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for the 2025-2026 school year to support a K-12 caseload in Homer, LA. This contract position offers guaranteed hours and the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services within a school setting.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location:
- Homer, Louisiana
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for students across all grade levels (K-12)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Monitor and report student progress toward communication goals
