Job Description


A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide specialized speech and language services in an elementary school setting in Sunnyvale, CA. This contract position spans the full school year and offers a flexible schedule of 0.8 FTE, typically 4 days per week, serving both PreK and elementary caseloads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students ranging from PreK to elementary levels
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Document and maintain accurate records of services and student performance
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on communication goals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with elementary and early childhood populations
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development typical of PreK to elementary ages
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
