Job Description
A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in a K12 school environment located in Downingtown, PA. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with diverse caseloads across all grade levels and contribute to student success through specialized speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each student.
- Collaborate closely with educators, school staff, and families to support student progress and promote communication development.
- Maintain documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility and willingness to obtain licensure.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, demonstrating familiarity with educational procedures and student populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within school teams.
