Speech Language Pathologist in Ulysses, KS

A school district in Ulysses, KS is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for a contract position serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This opportunity primarily involves working with approximately 40-50 students, mostly at the elementary level. The position spans the normal school year (NSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for K-12 students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student communication goals.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech therapy goals within the classroom setting.
• Monitor progress and maintain detailed records of student treatments.
• Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to address various speech and language disorders.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience working with a range of pediatric speech and language disorders, particularly in an elementary school setting.
• Ability and willingness to consider using VOCO or other augmentative communication tools as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational staff.
