Pediatric School-Based SLP Renton, Washington

A full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting in Renton, WA, for the 2025-2026 academic year. This contract role spans from September 2, 2025, to June 16, 2026, serving a K-12 student caseload, offering the opportunity to work directly with children across multiple grade levels in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Pediatric SLP experience
• Teletherapy experience preferred but not required
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Current WA state SLP licensure and ESA certification
• Experience working in school settings supporting K-12 students
• Ability to provide therapy services without the use of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Voice Output Communication Aids (VOCO) at this time

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
• Deliver therapy sessions on-site to optimize direct interaction and support
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly throughout the academic year
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines
