Job Description


A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 school setting located in Peoria, AZ. This contract role offers guaranteed hours and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the communication skills and academic success of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Provide therapy sessions focused on achieving specific speech and language objectives
  • Track and document student progress with detailed records to inform ongoing care
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including educators, therapists, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in Arizona
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
