Position Details

Provide specialized speech therapy services to students with diverse communication needs through remote service delivery. Address speech sound disorders, language impairments, fluency challenges, and pragmatic communication difficulties using evidence-based virtual interventions.

Your role involves creating personalized therapy experiences that engage students and promote rapid skill development. Collaborate with school personnel to ensure therapeutic goals support overall educational objectives and enhance classroom participation.

Primary Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments using appropriate evaluation tools and procedures. Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and IEP requirements. Deliver direct therapy services through interactive virtual sessions incorporating multimedia resources and digital activities.

Track and document student progress toward established communication goals. Provide consultation services to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies. Engage families in the therapy process through education and home practice programs. Attend team meetings and contribute to educational planning processes.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) certification. Valid New Hampshire speech language pathology license. Two years minimum experience providing speech therapy in school-based settings.

Strong technology skills and comfort with virtual service delivery platforms. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience working with students across various age groups and disability categories. Reliable internet connection and professional workspace setup.
