A licensed Occupational Therapist is needed to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Henrietta, NY. This contract position offers 30 hours per week with a schedule aligned to the school calendar, from September 2, 2025, through June 25, 2026. The primary focus will be supporting students across kindergarten through 12th grade with occupational therapy needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in a school environment, utilizing skills in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assess, develop, and modify treatment plans to address students educational and developmental goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Occupational Therapy License.
- Experience or familiarity with K-12 school settings preferred.
- Proficiency in teletherapy as well as hands-on occupational therapy services.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently; specific caseload details will be provided.
