Utica Community Schools is actively seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their supportive team. This position focuses on helping students build critical communication skills needed for classroom participation and social success.

Role Overview:
As an SLP, youll assess speech and language needs, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy that aligns with each students IEP goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations

  • Develop individualized therapy plans and deliver services

  • Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatics

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning and progress reviews

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district standards

  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Michigan SLP License

  • Michigan DOE School Certification for SLPs

  • ASHA CCC strongly preferred

  • Experience working with K12 students preferred

  • Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills

Job Details:

  • Type: Full-time, onsite

  • Schedule: MondayFriday, school hours

  • Caseload: K12 students (assigned per district need)
