Utica Community Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy and language support services to K12 students with diverse communication needs. Position Overview:
In this role, you will evaluate student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that supports communication development and academic success.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language assessments and prepare evaluation reports
Develop and implement therapy aligned with IEP goals
Provide services for articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, and pragmatics
Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance documentation
Track student progress and adjust plans as needed
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Michigan SLP License
Michigan Department of Education Approval/Certification for school-based SLP
ASHA CCC preferred
Prior school-based or pediatric experience a plus
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Job Details:

Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district)
