Join Paterson Schools as a Speech Therapist Full-Time SLP Position

Paterson Public School District is looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in developing essential communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with educators and families in a dynamic school environment.

Position Overview:
The SLP will assess speech and language needs, deliver individualized therapy, and contribute to IEP development to help students reach their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and draft reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to student IEPs

• Address articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and pragmatic communication

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support learning

• Attend IEP meetings and document services accurately

• Monitor and report student progress regularly

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New Jersey SLP License

• NJ DOE Speech-Language Specialist Certification

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• Prior experience in schools or pediatric therapy is a plus

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during regular school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assigned per district needs)
