Paterson Public School District is actively hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students develop the motor and adaptive skills necessary for success in school and daily life. Join a collaborative team dedicated to meaningful student outcomes.

Position Overview:
In this role, you will assess student abilities, design individualized therapy plans, and provide interventions that promote independence and participation in learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare detailed reports

• Develop treatment plans aligned with IEP objectives

• Deliver therapy targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-help strategies

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Attend IEP meetings and maintain compliant documentation

• Monitor student outcomes and adjust plans as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active New Jersey OT License

• NJ DOE Educational Services Certificate with OT Endorsement

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during standard school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments based on district needs)
