A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) program, serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade. This on-site role is based in Redding, California, and offers the opportunity to work within the educational environment supporting students during the summer months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to K-8 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff
- Ability to manage a caseload and organize therapy schedules efficiently
