Pediatric Speech Pathology - Chelmsford, MA

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2023-2024 school year in an elementary setting serving kindergarten through fourth grade students with a variety of disabilities. This contract position offers full-time hours (37.5 per week) supporting a caseload of diverse students within a public school district in Chelmsford, MA.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology required; no consideration for Clinical Fellows
  • Massachusetts SLP license and DESE certification are mandatory
  • Recent school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Pediatric and healthcare speech-language pathology background helpful
  • Availability to work full-time in a school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language assessments and therapy services to K-4 students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and district policies
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development activities as required
