Full-Time School OT Foster Student Independence in Olentangy Classrooms

Olentangy Local Schools is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver school-based therapy that empowers students to develop functional and adaptive skills essential for success. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and student-centered team.

Position Overview:
In this role, you will assess student needs, create intervention plans, and provide direct therapy services designed to enhance fine motor skills, self-help abilities, and classroom participation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and generate detailed reports

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address fine motor development, sensory processing, and daily living skills

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote carryover

• Attend IEP meetings and contribute recommendations and progress updates

• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Ohio Occupational Therapy License

• Ohio Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• Prior school or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
