SLP Position Help Olentangy Students Find Their Voice

Olentangy Local Schools is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy and assessment services that help students build critical communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative school-based team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will evaluate students, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver interventions that address a variety of speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and prepare clear, compliant reports

  • Develop and implement IEP-aligned therapy plans

  • Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic communication

  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development

  • Maintain thorough documentation and track progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Ohio SLP License

  • Ohio Department of Education School Certification for SLPs

  • ASHA CCC strongly preferred

  • Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred

  • Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills

Job Details:

  • Type: Full-time, onsite

  • Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

  • Caseload: K12 students (assignments based on district needs)
