Job Title: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Location : Sneads Ferry, NC

Job Type : Full-time

Position Summary:
As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to assist in the evaluation and treatment of clients with speech and language disorders. Your role will involve implementing therapy plans and providing support to both students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist SLPs in implementing individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Conduct therapy sessions with clients, focusing on communication skills, articulation, fluency, and language development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and activities.
- Support clients in practicing speech and language exercises.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to ensure continuity of care.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and their families to provide updates and resources.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Current SLPA licensure as required by state regulations.
- Experience in a educational setting is preferred, but not required.
