Occupational Therapist School Setting in South Portland, ME

A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting in South Portland, ME. This contract role runs from August 20th, 2025, through June 12th, 2026, requiring onsite presence to deliver hands-on services throughout the school year. The schedule includes 37.5 hours per week, working directly with students across various grade levels.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to K-12 students needs within the school environment
• Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized educational and therapeutic plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to promote successful participation in school activities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and district guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families and school staff

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Maine
• Experience in home health, healthcare settings, and school-based therapy preferred
• Knowledge of OT practices applicable to pediatric populations in educational environments

• Ability to work onsite full-time during the school year
