Speech Therapist Opportunity Make a Difference in South-Western City Schools

South-Western City Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide assessments, therapy, and support services that empower students to build effective communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a collaborative and student-centered team.

Position Overview:
As a school-based SLP, youll evaluate students, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that addresses a range of speech and language challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and prepare evaluation reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and pragmatics

• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success

• Attend IEP meetings and maintain accurate records

• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Ohio SLP License

• Ohio Department of Education School Certification for SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
