Occupational Therapist Needed Support Student Growth in Toledo City Schools

Toledo City Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to help students develop functional skills that promote independence and success in the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team focused on student achievement.

Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student needs, create individualized plans, and deliver therapy that supports fine motor development, sensory processing, and adaptive skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare detailed reports

• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address fine motor skills, self-care abilities, and sensory integration

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families

• Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations and progress updates

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Ohio Occupational Therapy License

• Ohio Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
