Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations for a total of 25 students, assessing their physical therapy needs and developing appropriate intervention strategies.
- Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of 6 students, focusing on their unique goals outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Document progress notes and regularly update IEP goals to reflect student advancements and areas for improvement.
- Utilize SPEDTrack and other relevant tools to track student progress and ensure compliance with educational standards.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive environment for each student.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Mississippi.
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans based on individual student needs.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and school staff.
