Rehab ilitation Aide - Days - Cornell Campus

Among our many world-class services we provide rehab ilitation throughout the continuum of care including acute care, inpatient rehab ilitation and outpatient rehab ilitation all of which helps patients achieve functional independence so they can effectively re-integrate back into the community. As a Rehab ilitation Aide, take part in the continuum of care in all of our various settings from ICU, acute care, inpatient rehab ilitation and outpatient rehab ilitation . This position will be primarily working in our outpatient department and inpatient rehab ilitation units. Assisting in our chaperone program for pelvic health, maintaining therapy areas by

obtaining rehab ilitation equipment, linen inventory and restocking linen and medical supplies. Transport and transfer patients, maintaining equipment and supplies as required on the rehab unit. Assisting with direct patient care under the supervision of Physical and Occupational Therapists as you assist with the mobility of patients of all ages and diagnoses.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:30 am 4:30 pm; flexibility needed to cover occasional late hours from 10:30-6:30 as determined by management based on operational needs and staffing.

Preferred Criteria

• Acute care experience

• Six months hospital experience

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED

• Knowledge of policies and procedures of Rehab ilitation Medicine
