Job Description
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve a school setting in Greeneville, TN. This role offers the chance to work with a caseload of approximately 50 students and make a meaningful impact on their communication development.
Key Details:
- Location: Greeneville, TN
- Assignment Dates: January 4th through May 24th
- Weekly Hours: 35 hours per week (part-time candidates will also be considered)
- Caseload: Around 50 students
- Support: Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be provided to assist with caseload management
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based therapy services to improve students' communicative abilities
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and IDEA regulations
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and therapy plans
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure or eligibility to practice in Tennessee
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team
