Pediatric SLP Clinical Fellow - Aberdeen, Mississippi

A school district near Starkville, Mississippi is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services to students during the upcoming school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting children with communication needs in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
• Deliver services in compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to speech therapy in schools

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in Mississippi
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience in school-based speech therapy is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
