Pediatric School Speech Pathology Cypress, Texas

A healthcare facility in Cypress, TX is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a contract position with a nonschool year (NSY) duration. This role offers flexibility with options for full-time or part-time schedules and prefers on-site work. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in pediatric and teletherapy settings and have experience working with both school and healthcare populations.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred
• Experience in school settings is a plus
• Proficiency with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
• Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Familiarity with collaborating alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients needs
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient progress
• Monitor therapy outcomes and maintain detailed, accurate documentation of patient records
• Participate in interdisciplinary communication to ensure comprehensive care
