A healthcare facility in Houston, Texas is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a contract position with a school-year duration. This role allows for full-time or part-time schedules, with on-site work preferred.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a school setting is a plus
- Familiarity with AAC devices
- Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team including PTs, SLPAs, and OTs
- Monitor patient progress and provide detailed reports
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
This position may involve teletherapy services and working closely with School and Healthcare Speech Language Pathologists and Assistants (SLPAs). Caseload details will be shared during the interview process.
