Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Redlands, CA

An opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide support in a school setting from March through June. The position requires 7 hours of work per day and involves collaborating with occupational therapists across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract-based role offers the chance to contribute to a variety of student needs throughout the academic spectrum.

Location: Redlands, CA

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in delivering therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high schools.
• Support direct therapy sessions and assist with implementing treatment plans.
• Monitor student progress and assist with documentation as required.
• Facilitate therapeutic activities tailored to individual student needs.
• Communicate effectively with therapists, educators, and other school personnel.

Qualifications:

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
• Experience working in a school-based occupational therapy setting preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to support multiple school levels.
