Job Description
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is open for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract role involves working with students from Pre-K through 5th grade in an elementary school setting. The position requires 37.5 hours per week and offers the opportunity to support a diverse group of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students from Pre-K to 5th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Supervise and collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and utilize VOCO systems as appropriate
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly
- Maintain detailed documentation and participate in team meetings
- Support Clinical Fellows (CFs) under supervision, ensuring compliance with professional standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification and licensure
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Ability to supervise SLPAs and Clinical Fellows
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to working within school environments and collaborating with educators and families
