Occupational Therapist School Setting in Benson, AZ

An experienced Occupational Therapist is needed for a full-time position in a school-based setting near Tucson, AZ, to support students from preschool through middle school for the remainder of the current school year. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with educational teams to enhance students functional abilities and participation in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students from preschool to middle school.
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Support students in developing skills needed for academic and daily living activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Speech and Language Pathology certificate required.
• Experience working in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric OT principles and interventions.
• Ability to manage a caseload across preschool to middle school levels.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
