Job Summary

Provides comprehensive assessments, evaluations, personalized treatment planning, and comprehensive group and individuals therapeutic services to adults and adolescents experiencing life-area impact from the use of substances.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The Qualified Mental Health Professional is defined as an individual who possesses a master's degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, or related fieldwork, who has successfully completed a practicum or internship that included a minimum of 1,000 hours of supervised direct service in addiction treatment or who has at least one year of clinical experience under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Clinical Certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) from the Illinois Certification Board, Inc.

DESIRED

Bilingual in Spanish.

REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a valid Illinois Driver's License with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of employment eligibility or U.S. citizenship.

Salary Range

Grade 14 Hourly Wages ($31.26-$44.17)
