MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelors degree required. Masters Degree in related field within 5 years
Experience: 5 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); 5 years of experience as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Sleep Disorders Testing and Therapeutic Intervention Respiratory Care Specialist (RRT-SDS) required for the Sleep Disorders Center. Management/Supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure: Active National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) credentials as described and a current license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia (if required for the discipline) required. May require a valid Virginia Drivers License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
