A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support elementary school students in grades 4-5. This contract role spans the school year and involves managing a caseload of approximately 65 students. The setting offers a collaborative environment with other therapists available for support, ensuring a team-based approach to student care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Deliver therapy to a caseload of around 65 elementary students, focusing on enhancing communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and educational staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed records and provide regular progress reports.
  • Participate in meetings with parents and school personnel as needed.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required.
  • Knowledge of educational speech therapy practices and regulations.
  • Ability to manage a substantial caseload effectively.
